That’s kinda why this past couple of weeks have been a blur! Do I need to? I guess not, but I’m just so darn excited. Now that things have sorta settled down, I’m sitting down and listing all the online media where you can hear me endlessly blabber on about Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft, Jonah Maiava, voice acting, motion capture, and probably a burrito or two.
So, Rise of the Tomb Raider hit store shelves a little over two weeks ago, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Heck yes!
By now, if you follow me on any social network, I’m sure you know I got a chance to reprise my role as the Voice/Motion Capture actor for Jonah Maiava. W00! Here’s a snazzy banner thing:
So, if you haven’t had a chance to play yet, I gotta say: Put it high up on your list.
I mean, check out this press!
“… it builds on 2013’s Tomb Raider in every way, delivering a game that’s as much a video game as it is work of cinematic art”
The New York Daily News
Oooh, this too:
“You have daredevil sequences, heroic moments, fun exploration, and exciting fights that even Indiana Jones would envy. If Crystal Dynamics keeps raising the bar from here, I can’t wait to see what’s next for Lara.”
Well, good job for not updating about this on your own site, Earl. I was planning on writing up a full scale rundown of the event, but moving and life-type stuff post Comic-Con made that not quite happen. Haha, perhaps I’ll get on in at a later date. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures of the even from the interwebs, aka Camilla Luddington Daily.
If you happen to be at San Diego Comic Conthis week, come check out my first SDCC panel ever on Saturday! EVER! It’s entitled The Evolution of an Icon in Rise of the Tomb Raider and will take place at 5pm in Room 25ABC.
